Calling women's tennis players

Head coach Kathy Twist is looking for walk-ons for the UB women's tennis team. The team, who is currently 1-0 after defeating St. Francis (Penn.) on Saturday, is looking to expand its current seven-woman roster and invites those who have experience in the game and are interested in competing at a Division-I level to try out.

Cross country finishes in the middle

The Bulls finished in the middle of the pack for the second time in a row as the men and women's cross country teams participated in the Paul Short Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Jen Jezorski finished first on the UB women's team, completing the 6K race in 21:56. Jezorski placed 63rd out of a 47-school field of 310 women. Freshman Mary Veith finished 81st and sophomore Aleksandra Bykowska came in at 128th place.

The Bulls will run next on Saturday when the team brings the competition to Buffalo for the UB Open at 11 a.m.
