Volleyball hits airwaves
Beginning with Tuesday's home match against Niagara, four of UB's women's volleyball matches will be aired on WLVL 1340 AM. Buffalo's remaining three transmissions will feature Mid-American Conference games. Brendan McDaniels, who can currently be heard on Bulls football broadcasts, will announce the games live on the air.
Baseball hires former pro
The UB baseball has added Ed Marko to the team's staff as a pitching coach. Marko, 26, has spent the last three years pitching in minor league baseball. He replaces Dave Borsuk, pitching coach for the past six years and UB graduate.
