Like the men's team, the women's tennis team has just one MAC victory since joining the conference. Unfortunately for them, however, the win was back in the 2000-2001 season.
The Bulls finished last season 6-13 with an 0-9 MAC record, but the addition of some young, promising played has UB believing they can turn things around.
Last season, freshman Kristen Ortman led team with a 12-10 singles record and won four MAC matches. She also played on the top doubles team and went 8-14. With only one senior graduating, the Bulls should return a number of good, young players and hope to improve on their previous showings.
