The UB Track and Field team produced two champions during last year. Men's decathlete Carlos Williams won the MAC Conference Championship 10 event competition with a total score of 6,561 points. Women's team member Laura Olson took home the pole vaulting championship with her school record 13-1.75 foot vault, winning the competition by four inches.
The men's team placed seventh among 11 teams at the tournament, while the women's team placed ninth out of 13.
