Brendan Dunford

Once again, a UB baseball pitcher has been selected as the MAC East Division Pitcher of the Week. MAC officials announced Monday that Dunford is the third-consecutive Bulls pitcher to earn the honor. The junior struck out 10 Mount St. Mary's batters, and allowed no earned runs during his seven-inning complete game performance Saturday.

Mark Garrard won the award for Buffalo last week, and John Sullivan won it March 4.

Baseball

The team announced Wednesday their game at Duquesne, originally scheduled for today, was postponed prior to the team's departure due to forecasts of inclement weather in the Pittsburgh area. A makeup date has yet to be announced.

Buffalo Bandits

The National Lacrosse League team has been officially eliminated from playoff contention following the results of last weekend's games. The Bandits are 7-8 with a Saturday game at Washington remaining, but win or lose cannot place any higher than seventh overall.

In the NLL, like each conference in the NFL, the three division winners reach the playoffs along with three wildcard teams. The top two division winners receive first-round byes.
