My name is Patrick Comerford and I was recently quoted in your newspaper [Oct. 3, "Fall Fest Attracts Small but Devoted Monday Crowd."] I did not say what you quoted me as saying. I'm referring to the quote "It's a different crowd, there was a little more of an ethnic turnout for Outkast." That was actually said by Ryan (not Brian) Graf who you quoted but misnamed in the next paragraph. Actually, I said what you have Brian saying, although Ryan did make the latter comment in that paragraph about the show being on a Monday.
Also, the reaction received after reading the article is that whoever commented on the ethnicity of the crowd was a little racist, at least that's what my sister and I gathered while reading it. I assure you the statement was not meant in this way. Ryan was commenting on your reporter's question of what the differences were between Spring Fest and Fall Fest. Both Ryan and I attended the last Spring Fest.
