The women’s basketball team’s head coach Felisha Legette-Jack called a timeout with less than 15 seconds remaining in Saturday’s game, but had no intention of talking to the team or drawing up a play. With the Bulls up by seven points, the timeout was used to make a personnel switch.
In her first season with Buffalo, Cordoba has been active in recruiting talent from her native Australia to join the Bulls. The last place team in the MAC, Miami Ohio (5-20, 2-12 MAC), defeated the Bulls (15-10, 8-6 MAC) 78-68 in Alumni Arena Saturday afternoon behind an 8-of-10 three-point shooting performance.
On Wednesday, the Bulls (15-9, 8-5 MAC) narrowly defeated Kent State (4-20, 2-11 MAC) in Alumni Arena.
