Athletic Director Danny White said he is ready to ?bring the wow factor? back to Alumni Arena. When White arrived in Buffalo in 2012, he expressed interest in making changes to the arena, which has received little cosmetic upgrades since its inception in 1982. The first part of the program?s redesign initiative for Alumni Arena ? a mural of UB athletes in their respective blue and white uniforms ? is now complete.

Buffalo women?s basketball sophomore guard/forward Rachael Gregory has decided to transfer from Buffalo to another university to finish her basketball career. ?I LOVE Buffalo, the school and all of the relationships I?ve made,? Gregory told The Spectrum via Twitter. She has not decided yet where she wants to transfer to and didn?t wish to disclose her reasons for leaving. ?I know that all of my now former teammates have bright futures at UB, and after UB as well,? Gregory said. Gregory led Buffalo with 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game thorough 17 games her freshman year (2012-13 season) before suffering a season-ending ACL injury.
