Softball earns first MAC win of season against Toledo

The Bulls finished the weekend with a 1-4 record.
Softball (5-12) traveled to Clinton, South Carolina this weekend to compete in the PC Invitational, hosted by Presbyterian College. The Bulls went 2-2 and now hold a record of 5-12.
Softball (3-10) traveled to Norfolk, Virginia this weekend for the team’s third invitational of the 2023 season.
UB lost all four games of the invitational, putting them at 1-7 after their second series of the season.
Softball (1-3) opened its season at the Jax State Season Opener in Jacksonville, Alabama this weekend, facing Army West Point (2-2) and Jacksonville State (3-1).
To her teammates, Anna Aguon is known for bumping to Usher before games and spreading smiles throughout the dugout. But to the UB record books, she’s something more: the Bulls’ all-time leader in career home runs.
Softball (18-23, 9-13 MAC) went 1-2 in its crucial weekend series against Central Michigan (24-21, 15-8), the second-ranked team in the Mid-American Conference.

UB softball (15-16, 6-7 MAC) was swept this weekend by Mid-American Conference-leader Miami (OH) (24-12, 15-2 MAC).

Women’s softball (5-5) went 2-3 over the weekend in the Lobo Classic to bring its record to 5-5 after the first two weekends of play.
This weekend’s Panther Invitational saw UB defeat Penn State 5-3 on Saturday, which marked their first victory over a Power 5 rival since they took down Texas Tech 5-0 in 2014.
