Recent graduate sentenced for tax fraud

BURTON | Feb. 3, 2006An international student who recently graduated from UB was sentenced Wednesday to 10 weeks in jail after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor tax-fraud charge.Ozir Ozov, 31, had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of deliberately failing to file his 2001 non-resident income tax return, according to The Buffalo News.
