Termin cut after 21 years as men's swimming coach

After completing the season winless in regular season dual meets against Mid-American Conference foes, Budd Termin did not have his contract renewed as head coach of the men's swimming team.Termin, who oversaw the program's transition from Division III to its current Division I status, was effectively fired after 21 years in his position."Budd Termin has given the University at Buffalo athletic department long and dedicated service and we thank him for all he has done for the UB men's swimming program," said athletics director Warde Manuel in a press release.
