I first watched “The Sopranos” in the fall semester of 2023. About a month into my first semester, I contracted a virus and was the sickest I had ever been, with the exception of the flu I had in sixth grade. During this period of extreme fatigue, I finally watched the pilot episode, but it wasn’t until the fifth episode of the first season, “College” that I truly fell in love with the show.

The most anticipated time for college students is spring break. The sun seems to shine forever, the beaches are packed, and unfortunately, relationship break-up rates soar. A trend going around on TikTok suggests that if your significant other goes on spring break with their friends to Fort Lauderdale or wherever, it’s a pretty good reason to break up with them.

Every St. Patrick’s Day, celebrants deck their bodies out in green, throw on excessive plastic jewelry and enjoy a night on the town that doesn’t end until the next morning. Contrary to what many believe, a wild night of bar-hopping is not how the Irish intended for their holiday to be celebrated.

Or perhaps something to wind down the day after a long day of chasing leprechauns or whatever St. Paddy’s Day activities people might be doing.
“I have nothing to wear!” Is what you won’t be saying this St. Patrick’s day— or at least The Spectrum hopes so.
With St. Paddy’s Day coming up soon, it’s easy to plan a trip to a pub or attend a bar crawl. But there are other ways to celebrate Ireland and Irish American culture in Buffalo, just in time for the holiday.
