Jim McNally returns to Buffalo
Jim McNally, referred to as the best offensive line coach in the NFL, has returned to the University at Buffalo after 28 years of working in the trenches.
McNally, a starter on the Bulls' offensive line from 1961-1964, will be working on for the Athletics Department on various projects, including fundraising initiatives to assist in the expansion of Buffalo's athletic facilities.
McNally received both his undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University at Buffalo. He began coaching at Buffalo as an assistant coach from 1965-1970 before joining the NFL.
Bulls roster "deep in the heart of Texas"
Turner Gill and the Buffalo football staff continue to bolster their team as they announced the signing of Terry Peden to their 2008 recruiting class.
Peden, a native of Houston, Texas becomes the Bulls' fifth player to sign this year from the Lone Star state. This brings the number of Texan recruits to 10.
The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Peden, who played both defensive end and defensive tackle during his tenure at Langham High School, looks to play defensive end for the Bulls. In his senior year, Peden recorded 65 tackles, six sacks and three fumble recoveries, earning him All-District honors for a second straight season.
As a captain in his senior year, Peden helped lead his team to a second consecutive winning season. In addition to playing football, he has lettered in basketball as well as track and field.
Peden's signing brings Buffalo's 2008 recruiting class to 21 players.
