Baseball sweeps Central Michigan
With the men's baseball team still unable to play at Audobon Field, the Bulls once again played their double header against Central Michigan on Sunday at St. Bonaventure in Olean, NY.
The Bulls improved their record to 7-15 on the season with the two wins over the Chippewas.
Sophomore right-hander Jeffrey Hains led the way for the Bulls in the first game. Hains allowed five hits and struck out three batters through 8.2 innings as Buffalo picked up a 1-0 victory.
Junior catcher Rob Mancini hit a double in the sixth inning to bring freshman third baseman Kevin McCall around for the winning run.
It would take the Bulls 10 innings to capture the second game. With two outs in the tenth, senior first baseman Nick Walczak got on base with a double and was brought in on a single down the middle by sophomore centerfielder Adam Skoieczki.
