We all have that characteristic inside us that wants to do nothing but procrastinate throughout the day. Sometimes it's hard to satisfy this alter-ego, especially when social networks get tiring. Here are some new activities to make sure our inner-procrastinator doesn't drive his or herself crazy:

If you don't know about Reddit, I'm sorry. Once you click the first link, you'll be sucked into the vortex of procrastination. If you like pictures of adorable puppies, ducks or even hedgehogs, go to Reddit. If you're a fan of the Bad Luck Brian meme (or maybe Socially Awkward Penguin is more your style), go to Reddit. If you'reinterested in reading about the growing intensity of the current political situation, go to the Politics Subreddit (a subreddit is just about one specific topic, rather than the normal disarray of the front page). Pictures, memes and articles from all over the Internet are consolidated on one website. But be warned: once you start lurking on Reddit, you won't stop.

Let's face it, not everything on television today is entertaining. The Internet has made us accustomed to getting what we want, when we want it. So when we turn on our TVs at 2 p.m. on a Saturday and there's nothing to watch, it gets frustrating. Luckily in 2008, Netflix satisfied our urges with Internet video streaming that allowed us to watch movies, shows and foreign flicks.
With the ability of watching shows at will, we can all get hip to the AMC series Breaking Bad. If you're all about people getting bloodied up, crystal-meth and a show that actually makes you connect the dots, then this is for you. Watching 50-year-old Walter White (Bryan Cranston, Drive) do all this work is addicting. A definite must watch.
PICK IT: Pandora
Having the ability to strategically put a bunch of songs together in a fluent manner is not a talent that most possess. We may look at DJs as if all they do is play songs off a MacBook, but in real life there's a lot more to it. Luckily for us, we have Pandora, which serves as a website and an app which provide several stations to do all the work for us.
With a tool like Pandora, regular activities now run a lot smoother. Putting make-up on is more entertaining, doing homework becomes easier and that ride to wherever you're going to is more enjoyable. Pandora doesn't just play the artist or song that you search, but all the artists and songs that are similar. Pandora is the genius player of all radio stations.
