The “Freedom Wall” art gallery is a Public Art Initiative, in partnership with the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor and local stakeholders, conceived this mural to honor the nation’s historic and ongoing fight for political and social equality, highlighting the pivotal and enduring contributions of local leaders to this cause.
