University Police arrested a 53-year-old man last Tuesday for allegedly starting a fire in a Baldy Hall classroom around 2:30 p.m. on UB’s North Campus. The fire and the smoke that resulted had forced occupants to evacuate the building.

The fire was put out with an extinguisher by an officer. No injuries were reported.
