Halloween is in full effect, and The Spectrum is not gatekeeping their costumes this year — or from past years. We can’t guarantee you can make this work with only a day or two to spare, but you can definitely take some inspiration from us to get a head start on next year’s costumes.
Russell from the Pixar movie “UP”
I love Russell because he is just a little guy, and that is so me! None of my friends wanted to go as the old man from the movie… but my friend is going to go as the house with the balloons.

Padme from the Disney movie “Star Wars”
I’ve got a few costumes lined up this year, but Padme is the one I’m most excited for. After the Chippewa bar crawl last weekend, I realized I’m certainly not the only one who took some “Star Wars” inspo when figuring out what to dress up as, but I’m still excited to debut this costume Friday night.

Miss Piggy from the Disney movie “The Muppets”
Anyone who knows me knows that I love “The Muppets.” I’m not dressing up this year, but when I was in early high school I dressed up as Miss Piggy, and even went to school in the costume. I had a rubber pig nose, high heels and a huge blonde wig and several people couldn’t recognize me.

Water Fairy from the Disney movie “Tinker Bell”
My girlfriend really wanted to dress as Silvermist from the “Tinkerbell” movies. Her friends had claimed all the other characters before I had any say. Sadly, I was stuck dressing as a generic fairy.

Masquerade Ball Guest
Again this year, I waited until the last minute to get a costume. Fortunately, I was able to throw something simple together with just a mask. I’ll be wearing a masquerade mask this Halloween. This idea doesn’t cost much, but you could also dress it up with feathers, jewelry and other accessories. The clothing itself can be pretty casual or actual Victorian style. I’d recommend a masquerade look to anyone, since it’s versatile and works well when you need something last minute yet stylish.

Clementine from “The Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind”
I saw this movie a while ago and it was so heartbreaking to me, and I don’t know why, but I’m just really drawn to characters like that and I’ve been wanting to do this costume for a while. It's a really simple costume because she wears regular clothes the whole time but she does have this really iconic orange sweatshirt and blue hair which I think is a very unique contrast.

Hugh Hefner and Metro Boomin
I wasn’t sure what to dress up with this year so I had to go to TikTok for some inspiration. I'm not a huge fan of Metro Boomin but I thought the costume was super cute so I'm very excited to put that costume together.

Raven from DC’s “The Teen Titans”
Would you believe this is my back-up costume idea? My friends and I were supposed to be the Scooby-Doo Gang, and then… the idea went out the window! So, I really wanted to be Raven for some time now, and now I can finally do it. I have an old black deep v-neck bodysuit ready to be in use and classic knee-high black boots. Can’t wait to show the entirety of my a**, but hey! That’s what Halloween is about, man, gotta show the goods that I have to offer. I just wish that I had my Beast Boy, or my Damian (if you know, you know), here with me to make this the best Halloween ever — and to make-out with.
