The semester is finally coming to a close, and the weather is finally warming up.

June 1 and 2 — Intersect: A Queer Arts Festival
The festival highlights queer art in all forms. There will be a large vendors section, installations and live art creation. The center stage will feature queer poets, drag performers and a talent show.
June 7 — “Quiet Elegance: A Remarkable Bequest” opens at Buffalo AKG
The anonymously donated contains many mid-twentieth century pieces from notable artists of the era including Pablo Picasso, Ellsworth Kelly and Alexander Calder. The AKG also has several art events every month including tours, live performances, art classes and more. Cost of admission for college students is $16.
June 8 and 9 — Allentown Arts Festival
The 67th Allentown Arts Festival is a bustling several-block-long celebration of Buffalo creatives. There are stalls of all kinds of homemade crafts and food. Buskers of all kinds line the street, giving the festival a burst of live music. It’s a great way to get familiar with Buffalo’s local artists and musicians.
