10/25

8:11 a.m.: University Police noticed graffiti on the Katharine Cornell Theatre sign on Core Road. The tag was in black marker and the officers took photos of the graffiti.

6:06 p.m.: A female student reported she was refused parking on multiple occasions in multiple lots. UPD filed a report.

9:44 p.m.: An RA in Clinton Hall reported she smelled marijuana in a lounge and then found paraphernalia in one of the suite rooms. UPD dispatched and issued three referrals.

11:18 p.m.: A male student reported a motor vehicle accident on Rotary Road. Two cars were involved in the accident and one driver needed medical transportation. UPD called the Buffalo Police because of the incident’s location.

11:51 p.m.: UPD responded to an alcohol overdose at Dewey Hall. The male student was semi-conscious and vomitting. Medical transport was provided to the student.

12:45 p.m.: UPD responded to reports of an odor of natural gas in Farber 144. A worker hit the gas meter by the biomedical building with a lawnmower. Buffalo Fire and Environment, Health and Safety were notified followed by the blocking of Michael Road by UPD. Buildings were evacuated and alerts were sent to students.

1:03 p.m.: UPD responded to a hit and run in the Cooke A parking lot. A male student reported his white Toyota Avalon was scratched while he was in class. 

4:44 p.m.: An intrusion alarm was set off at 1 Capen. A UB employee accidentally triggered the alarm. 

9:20 p.m.: Someone called from the downtown medical campus regarding suspicious people. Officers addressed the skateboarders outside of Washington Street.

11:39 p.m.: UPD responded to a criminal mischief call at Bissell Hall. A female student reported that the cover for her car mirror was removed. UPD report filed.

1:05 a.m.: UPD was dispatched to assist another officer with an alcohol overdose at the Villas on Rensch. The 19-year-old male student was vomitting and received medical transport to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

1:53 a.m.: UPD requested an ambulance for an alcohol overdose on Winspear Avenue. The ambulance transported an unconscious male student lying in the street to Erie County Medical Center. UPD filed a report.

4:04 p.m.: A male student filed a report for a missing credit card. The student reported he lost his credit card the night before and realized it the following morning after seeing fraudulent charges. UPD filed a report.

5:17 p.m.: UPD reported reckless operation of a tan 2012 Subaru Impreza in the Hadley Village parking lot. UPD stopped the vehicle and took the driver’s information. 

6:31 p.m.: A female student reported a suspicious person in Jacobs Hall. The student said a male of roughly 60-years-old began aggressively questioning her and would not leave. She expressed concern for her female classmates because she said the subject did not seem to be a student. The subject was wearing dark clothing and a black leather jacket and is approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall in a dark grey shirt with dark pants. The suspicious male was last seen on the second floor near the bridge going towards Capen Hall. UPD reported no signs of anyone matching that description after checking numerous places on campus.

10:52 p.m.: UPD received a call about an apparent alcohol overdose in Roosevelt Hall. The caller reported an intoxicated male who had been vomiting earlier and is conscious but incoherent. UPD responded to the scene and medical transport was provided to the student.

12:25 a.m.: An RA called UPD about an alcohol overdose at Dewey Hall. An intoxicated male student was conscious and sitting up right. UPD responded to the scene and transported the student to Erie County Medical Center.

12:30 a.m.: A Richmond RA called UPD about a non-student in the women's bathroom. The subject was intoxicated and not feeling well. Medical transport brought the student to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

4:53 a.m.: UPD received reports about a possible road rage incident at the McDonald’s on Main Street. An arrest was made and a vehicle was towed. 

7:22 p.m.: A female student reported finding a bullet in the washing machine at South Lake Village. The female took the bullet out and UPD filed a report. 

11:37 p.m.: UPD responded to a larceny report at Cooke Hall. A cleaner stated there were people stealing up to 20 rolls of toilet paper throughout the semester. UPD filed a report.
