Men's basketball wins first NCAA Tournament game

Bulls beat Arizona Wildcats in first round

No.13 Buffalo beat the no.4 Wildcats 89-68 in Boise, Idaho Thursday night in what was the first NCAA Tournament win in UB basketball history. Junior guard Jeremy Harris, senior guard Wes Clark and junior guard CJ Massinburg all had 19 points or more.

Harris led the team in rebounds and was hot from the behind the three line with 23 points and seven boards. Clark, who led the team in shooting at the Mid-American Conference Tournament final, did it again and led the Bulls with 25 points and seven assist.

The Bulls will play the no.5 Kentucky Wildcats next in the second round Saturday in Boise, Idaho.
