Rachael Gregory transfers from UB

Sophomore forward decides to leave university to continue playing career

Buffalo women’s basketball sophomore guard/forward Rachael Gregory has decided to transfer from Buffalo to another university to finish her basketball career.

“I LOVE Buffalo, the school and all of the relationships I’ve made,” Gregory told The Spectrum via Twitter.

She has not decided yet where she wants to transfer to and didn’t wish to disclose her reasons for leaving.

“I know that all of my now former teammates have bright futures at UB, and after UB as well,” Gregory said.

Gregory led Buffalo with 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game thorough 17 games her freshman year (2012-13 season) before suffering a season-ending ACL injury. Gregory rehabbed the following season and return to the court this year for the Bulls.

Gregory averaged 25.4 minutes, 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds a game this season.
