Mid-American Conference officials, Buffalo and Kent State held multiple teleconferences before coming to a decision about this week’s football matchup.
The Bulls and Golden Flashes are tentatively scheduled to play Friday at 1 p.m at UB Stadium. The game was scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m. but was postponed because Kent State’s equipment truck was stuck on Route 5.
Whether or not the game will be able to be played depends on the weather and the equipment truck arriving to UB Stadium.
Friday’s game will be free and anyone who purchased a ticket can redeem it for a Buffalo basketball ticket.
Kent State was scheduled to play Ohio next Tuesday Nov. 25, but the team’s game has been pushed to Friday Nov. 28.
The Bulls (4-6, 2-4 MAC) are coming off a 55-24 home victory over Akron Tuesday Nov. 11. The Golden Flashes (1-9, 0-6 MAC) lost 30-20 to Bowling Green, currently leading the MAC East.
