Freshman Brittney Walters won the 500-yard and 50-yard freestyle along with the 200-yard IM at the Cleveland State Invite on Friday. Senior diver Ava Giachino took the 1-meter board and senior Dan O'Connor broke the school record in the 500-yard freestyle for the men. O'Connor is having an historic year - this is his second school record of the season before championship season.
Junior Melissa Trail, sophomore Alexis Valedon, junior Taylor Steffl and senior Brittney Kuras won the 200-yard medley relay and Walters, junior Becky Evangelista and junior Jessica Powers took the 800-yard freestyle relay on Saturday.
For the men, O'Connor, senior Tommy Steele, sophomore Antonio Lanzi and freshman Eric Jensen combined for the 800-yard freestyle win.
Both teams won first place overall.
