There has been recent talk in the news that female college students are outnumbering male college students at alarming rates (a 60-40 girl-boy ratio) and that somehow this data implies that boys have become less brainy than girls. Some college admissions officers are proposing affirmative action for men to make up for the gender gap.
Lest we forget that a majority of high-income earning men are still family providers who bring home the bacon to housewives, who give the bacon to a maid, whose meal preparation is wiped off by a nanny. Feminine mystique alerts us that many female college graduates today would rather (if given the choice) become a housewife to a loving, employed man while managing the responsibilities of the household, influencing the education of their children, and enjoying personal leisure. With this in mind, can we rightfully say that boys have suddenly become underachievers
While many young college women seem to be better talkers, young college men seem to be better observers. They talk less to earnestly, watch and wait for a break in the rules of mating. Survival of the fittest, after all, is getting lucky with a "wonderful luck" who can become an apt home manager, if nature calls.
