For the second season in a row, sophomore center Heather Turner of the women's basketball team was named to a Mid-American Conference postseason team. Turner was joined by freshman Jamie Schiebner a postseason honoree.
Turner, the 2004-05 MAC Freshman of the Year, was named to the Third Team All-MAC squad as she led the Bulls in both scoring and rebounding this season with 14.3 points per game and 8.1 rebounds.
Turner finished first in the conference in field goal percentage and was second in rebounding, as well as first in offensive rebounds. Turner scored over 20 points seven times, and was second in the MAC with nine double-doubles.
Schiebner's season ended prematurely due to a head injury, which affected her for much of the last month of the season. Despite this fact, Schiebner was named to the All-MAC Freshman team as she averaged 7.8 points and 7.2 rebounds in 22 games.
