I generally think of myself as a fairly unemotional guy, one who is not easily moved to tears. However upon reading about the potential crowding problems facing the student body in the Spectrum's "Growing with respect" (Sept. 2) editorial, I broke down and cried like a baby. To think that in a country like America people would have to wait for another bus because of overcrowding is simply incomprehensible. And that parking is hard to find during the middle of the day. You'd expect to see that in a third world country, not in your own backyard. It is about time the poor college students had a voice defending their inherent human dignity against the onslaughts and arrows of an uncaring administration. I am 100 percent behind The Spectrum on this issue and look forward toward battling for the basic human rights of all college students.
