Senior Send Off
Bulls' football safety Mark Graham will top his career at UB by being named to the second All-MAC team. This was in spite of the fact he missed the final two games of the year due to a hip injury. Graham ended the year leading the team in tackles, sacks and fumble recoveries. He is also the school leader with 37 career passes defended, and had a team-best 38 straight starts.
Alumni Renovations
UB has raised two million dollars in order to build brand new basketball offices for both the men and women's teams, along with a replacement of fold-out seating after the conclusion of the 2003-04 season. More chair-back seats that will make the seating in the arena more efficient will replace the retractable seating, which has been in the arena since 1982.
Basketball Recap
UB had a tough vacation, basketball wise. Both the men's and women's teams went winless. The men played at Rutgers and at home to Penn State, losing both. Rutgers put up a particularly strong defensive effort to thwart the Bulls 78-53. Buffalo then returned home to lose a very close game to the Nittany Lions 67-64.
The women's squad faced off against Colgate on the road, falling behind early again. The Bulls defense finally appeared however, to bring the team back to take the lead before halftime. The effort fell short however, as UB lost 69-65.
Both the men and women take the court again today, with the women going at 11 a.m. against Youngstown State and the men playing Bowling Green at 7 p.m. Both games will be held in Alumni Arena.
