What's Happening Around UB


April 22

The International Student and Scholar Services will host "How to Buy and Maintain Your Car" at 4:00 p.m. in 31 Capen Hall. Carolyn Harding and Jim Yoerg of the American Automobile Association will speak.

The Office of Student Unions and Activities will host "Transitioning from College Student to Working Professional" in 145D Student Union.

The Living Well Center will host dance lessons with Laurie Krupski from 6 to 7 p.m. in 188 Alumni Arena.



April 23

The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will host "Drug Management for Seniors" from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Center for Tomorrow. Admission is $16 per person.



April 24

The Living Well Center will host "Buddhist Meditation" with Nikolas Karapasas in 210 Student Union from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Admission is free.

The International Student and Scholar Services will host "Applying for a Green Card: Outstanding Researcher/Professor Petitions and Adjustment of Status" in 148 Diefendorf Hall at noon. Maria Rosciglione, immigration specialist, will speak and admission is free.

The Living Well Center is hosting "Namaste," an open drum circle in 222 Student Union from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.



April 25

The Career Planning and Placement Center will host "Teacher Recruitment Days," a job fair for education majors at the Buffalo Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attendants must be pre-registered and a nominal fee is required.



April 26

The Living Well Center will host a mind/body movement class titled "Neuromuscular Integrative Action" at Alumni Arena from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

April 28

The Living Well Center will host a drum-making workshop featuring Stan Seacrest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 210 Student Union. Fees vary.
