Last week, our worst nightmare became a reality. Thousands of lives were lost after a massive terrorist attack destroyed the World Trade Center in New York, damaged the Pentagon in Washington and crashed a plane in Pennsylvania. As we watched the horror on our television sets, our lives changed forever. As both health care professionals and as friends, the UB School of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Sciences held a ribbon campaign, dedicated to all those affected in this time of need.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support during our ribbon campaign last week. With you help, we raised $1427. HSBC bank has agreed to match this amount, making our total donation to American Red Cross $2854. Again, I thank you all for your generosity.
