The Spectrum sits down with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood

Before they took the stage at the Center for the Arts Friday night, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” stars Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood sat down with The Spectrum. The two-man improv group talked about advice they’d give college students, why they like improv over standup and what it’s like being on tour.

Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood: Two become one

?Whose Line is it Anyway?? comedians, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, performed a two-man improv show Friday night at the CFA. Jeff Scott, The Spectrum Comedians Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood tiptoed blindly through a minefield of 100 mousetraps ? trying to avoid the traps ? and one another ? during the comedic, self-mutilating battle. What started as a comedy skit quickly turned into mischief, as the comedians broke the rules of their own game, sneakily slipping off their blindfolds and hurling the active traps at each other. The ?Whose Line Is It Anyway?? stars performed at UB?s Center for the Arts as a two-man improv group Friday night.

Spotify playlist: Got Money?

It?s the one thing we always seem to want more of, no matter how much we have ? money. Artists of all genres can relate to the struggle, be it a rapper ?making bank? with his crew or an old school rock band complaining of its shortage of funds.

The best things in life are free

The Horzowski Trio is among many big musical talents that the music department is bringing to UB. All students can now get free tickets for all the department?s concerts and recitals. Courtesy of Lisa-Marie Mazzucco Free concerts featuring world-renowned musicians are rare, but that?s what the music department is offering UB students this year. Students who present a valid UB ID can get free tickets to all of the music department performances for the 2014-15 season. Until now, students who were not music majors had to pay for most of the music department?s concerts, with the exception of the faculty recitals.
