The UB women’s basketball team is less than a week away from starting its long awaited 2020-21 season. UB will play Gannon University, a tough Division II program, in an exhibition game on Nov. 25 at home to get the season rolling.
On Tuesday, UB announced the men’s basketball team will open their season at home against Gannon on Nov. 25 pending approval from the New York State Department of Health. This will be the first time these teams face off since the Mideast Tournament in 1990-91.
UB defeated Bowling Green 42-17 in Ohio on Tuesday evening. Junior running back Jaret Patterson set a school record with 301 rushing yards.
