Although the textbooks are out, the pencils are sharpened, and the homework is piling up, there is still room to enjoy the semester, including the best of what Buffalo has to offer on the music scene. With shows showcasing the Buffalo Outer Harbor, and various other venues, there is a concert for every kind of student trying to get away from the grueling, impending work load.

In a city where winter dominates nine months out the year, those last three months of nice, warm weather are a big deal. When warm weather gracefully eases its way through these Buffalo streets, outdoor events and other forms of entertainment are booked every which way.

Since September I have been pretty much living a double life. I have been living at concerts at night, about four nights a week, and taking my honors economics and political science course load during the day while juggling five other jobs on the side. As an economics and political science student I never thought music would maintain such a strong presence in my life, but I couldn't be happier I was wrong.
