Suckering families out of money, brainwashing local students to live on campus for the experience. Of course, there is the whole freedom issue, the thought of having parties and visitors overnight without your parents even being aware. But you have to deal with the campus food.
Trying to upstage each other with their musical talents and visual tricks, two performers dueled with their drumsticks in competition for the audience's attention. As one drummer held the beat, the other astonished the crowd while passing a drumstick through his teeth and fingers.
Technicolor lights flashed across the stage and along the backdrop as "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory softly played in the background. The majority of the crowd was crammed around the stage with screams and whistles coming from every angle. Once the music stopped, the crowd roared as Flickerstick took the stage.
Four men took the stage in brightly colored vinyl jumpsuits and the first few rows of the audience started chanting "Manplanet, Manplanet, Manplanet." The lead singer grabbed the microphone and yelled, "Are you ready for a rock show?" The crowd went wild.
