Thanks to the increase in the size of UB's undergraduate population, the Student Association has been granted an additional seat on the State University of New York Student Association.
Last spring, the undergraduate student body elected three representatives to serve as UB delegates: Anthony Burgio, Yesenia Diaz and Kathryn Walsh. The fourth delegate is, by default, the president of the SA, currently Christian Oliver.
The newly opened position will be filled by student election. Undergraduate students may run for the position by picking up a petition in the SA office, obtaining 75 signatures and returning it by 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. The election - during which the SA Senators will also be selected - will take place Sept. 25 and 26.
Petitions for the Senate may also be picked up in the SA office and are also due at 4 p.m. on Sept. 18.
