UB Stampede bus and car collide at Flint and Augspurger Road intersection

A motor vehicle accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. today at the Flint Loop and Augspurger Road intersection. A UB Stampede bus was leaving Flint Loop after picking up students at Capen Hall. A UB student driving down Augspurger failed to stop at the stop sign, which caused the collision, according to Deputy Chief of Police Joshua Sticht.

The airbag in the car deployed and the drivers of both the car and Stampede suffered minor injuries. None of the passengers or pedestrians in the area were injured.
