Canadian band The Arkells played a sold-out show Friday night at the Town Ballroom. The band ran through hits “Knocking at the Door” and “Only For a Moment.” Fans in attendance said they traveled from Canada to enjoy a night with their favorite local rock group.

Following “Celebration 45,” the Zodiaque Dance Company is gearing up for its spring showing with “Zodiaque Dances On.” Director Kerry Ring says she's proud of the hard work her dancers have put in and thinks this spring’s show has something for everyone.

Students celebrated Hanukkah in the Student Union Monday with Chabad of Buffalo. They ate traditional food, played games and collected toys and money for children with cancer in the Buffalo region.

The Zodiaque Dance Company celebrated its 45th anniversary with “Celebration 45” beginning Thursday night. The program featured a multitude of styles including jazz, hip-hop and variations of modern dance providing for a diverse evening.

Demolition on Pritchard Hall began Nov. 12. UB is demolishing the building to make room for the School of Social Work and the Graduate School of Education on UB’s South Campus.
