University Police named their suspect in a string of residence hall burglaries. Darnell Cleveland is 20 years old and is not affiliated with UB. Cleveland has been named as the suspect in seven on-campus burglaries since July. Police are sharing his identity with UB students to prevent any more students from becoming burglary victims.

Counseling Services invites students to attend a Suicide Prevention training session on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Student Union. The Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training session will cap off a week of programming in honor of National Suicide Prevention Week. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students, according to the Suicide Prevention Resource Center.

The Faculty Senate passed a resolution on Tuesday calling for the UB Foundation (UBF) to divest its funds from fossil fuels. Fossil Free UB, a student-run environmental group led by Vanessa Dwyer, a senior environmental studies major, began the divestment campaign last year.
