University Police sent out an alert Sunday night about an assault with what seems to be an air soft pistol on South Campus.
A UB student reported to UPD that he was hit in the back of head with a BB - which caused a minor injury - that was shot out of what appeared to be an air pistol. The reported assault occurred while the victim was walking on the sidewalk near Hayes Annex B at 5:03 p.m.
The suspects are three male juveniles on bicycles that fled campus. UPD said it's reviewing security camera video and frequenting patrols around the area.
