UB canceled all classes on South Campus Wednesday due to a power outage affecting the entire campus' buildings and facilities. The outage occurred this morning at around 9 a.m.

After day classes were canceled, UB sent out another alert at around 4 p.m. that all night classes on South Campus and Goodyear Dining Hall services were also canceled. It is unclear what this will mean for students living in the South Campus dorms.

University Police say the cause of failure is unknown at this time but that power may be restored by 6 p.m.
