Buffalo (22-8, 14-3 MAC) hosted the Akron Zips (12-17, 5-12 MAC) on Tuesday night. The Bulls defeated Akron 80-68 in their final home game of the season, which was senior night for three players: forward Gabe Agorioge, guard Wes Clark and junior forward Ikenna Smart. This weekend, Jake Gunning gets a chance to defend the MAC heavyweight title he won a year ago.
The Bulls wrestling team (5-12, 2-5 Mid-American Conference) heads to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan for the MAC wrestling championships. The water polo club began in 2010 with only six friends. Since then, the team has grown to over 20 co-ed players.
Now in its eighth season, the club competes through the Collegiate Water Polo Association and finished its third consecutive season in the Men’s Club for the New York Division.read more >>

The men’s basketball team collected its first championship of the season. Friday’s win gave Buffalo the outright Mid-American Conference East division title for the second time in school history.
The Bulls (20-7, 12-2 MAC) locked a top-four seed and a bye in the MAC tournament, got to 20 wins faster than any team in program history and broke the program record for most three-pointers made in a season during their recent win against the Bowling Green Falcons (16-11, 7-7 MAC). They are also on pace to break the school record for points per game, currently 3.2 points above the 84.1 record.

The Bulls (5-10, 2-5 Mid-American Conference) will face off with the Binghamton Bearcats (11-5, 6-1 Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association) Thursday at 7 p.m. in their final match in Alumni Arena this season.
