The men’s basketball team (19-9, 13-5 Mid-American Conference) defeated Bowling Green (12-19, 6-12 MAC), 88-65, to win the MAC East Championship at Alumni Arena Saturday evening. Buffalo dropped its game at Akron (20-11, 12-6), 83-71, earlier in the week.

Men’s tennis goes 2-1 on weekend road trip
The No. 65 Bulls (7-3) went 2-1 on the road this weekend, defeating Bryant (9-7, 1-0 Northeast Conference) Friday and Boston (5-5, 2-0 Patriot League) Sunday, both by scores of 5-2. Buffalo lost to Brown (8-5), 7-0, Saturday.
Bulls drop two of three at Georgia Bulldog Invitational
The Bulls (7-3) dropped two of three games this weekend in the Bulldog Invitational in Athens, Ga. Buffalo lost to Georgia (9-6) Friday and Northern Florida (6-7) Sunday on a walk-off homerun in the 12th inning. The Bulls defeated Western Carolina (8-5), 5-4, Saturday.
