19-year-old struck by car in serious condition

A 19-year-old woman (name unknown) was hit by a Jeep SUV going north on Main Street, near the 3100 block, on Sunday morning at 3:30 a.m. The pedestrian ran into the street and was struck by the vehicle. The victim, an Amherst resident, was taken to ECMC and is in serious condition. The Spectrum will have more information as the day progresses.
