"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." –Marilyn Monroe
Most people that are unfortunate enough to cross paths with me in life think that I'm psychotic, crazy, and that I can be a little bit too much sometimes. They try to walk in the other direction as quickly as they possibly can. Many, however, find that they cannot turn away and get sucked into my overbearing wrath.
My goal in life is to entertain. To make people laugh, squirm in their seats, and to leave my words in their memories for as long as I possibly can.
The Spectrum is one of many places in which I am able to do just that.
I took it upon myself to become the first ever sex columnist at UB. Those who have known me for years know that me becoming a sex columnist is just as reasonable as Chelsea Handler throwing away her vibrators (see image below for proof and let me know how you feel.)

My semester spiraled to a place that I never thought it would end up. I found myself on the receiving end of hate mail and angry letters, but also encouraging comments and thumbs up. I became recognized at random places and by the middle of my sophomore year, I upgraded from ‘the girl with the glasses' to ‘the girl with the column.'
Being a part of The Spectrum for the second year in a row has had a major impact on my UB career, and I look forward to working as the editor of the Life Desk while improving my journalistic skills. Not just as the sex columnist but also with writing featured pieces that interest the student body.
I still don't have a clue as to what field of profession I want to enter when I grow up, but I do know that my journey will continue to be imperfect, mad, and ridiculous.
