    Yay, burpees: Part II

I’m not ashamed of my body, but my past four months have been an uphill battle with fitness. I’ve learned how to keep a healthy lifestyle, but between my busy schedule and my perpetually empty wallet, it’s been hard keeping myself on track.

My personal issues didn’t get in the way of my urge to see how far I could push my body, however, so I decided to go to a conditioning class held by UB Fit last Wednesday.

    Yay, burpees!

I hadn’t been in that much pain in months. My legs were shaking, I could barely raise my arms from my sides and my chest felt like it had a 50-pound weight on it.

So he decided to do something about the clutter. He created CampusLOOTr.

Kim designed CampusLOOTr, a free website targeted toward students, to facilitate trade between students exclusively at UB.

Fewer than 16 hours a day

International students adjust to the changes in their lifestyle in the U.S.

Many international students at UB, like Wang, come from vastly different education systems, and they must acclimate to the new environment. Through the assistance of offices such as the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and clubs such as Chinese Student Association, students are able to transition easier from one educational atmosphere to another.

Anonymous words of kindness UB Compliments gives students unexpected boosts of confidence

A new Facebook page, UB Compliments, allows users to anonymously post positive words about fellow UB community members. When universities around the world sparked new “compliments” pages on Facebook, one UB student decided to join in.
