US Army and Marine Corps offer waivers to felons to boost dwindling numbers

   There is a war within the army itself to combat low enrollment. According to CNN.com, the Army and the Marines have started issuing felony waivers. The crimes range in degree of severity, from burglary to drug possession. In fact, the article said that two men who have made terrorist threats against the US are now serving in the US Army. Big success at home for track

After starting their season on the road, the Buffalo men's and women's outdoor track and field teams held their first home meet on Saturday. UB Stadium provided friendly confines for the Bulls as they dominated the field at the UB Invitational, Buffalo's only outdoor home meet of the year. [read more]

Roller hockey finds success with little financial aid

   Since 1998, the University at Buffalo club roller hockey teams are some of the elite clubs in all of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association. Despite its lack of funding from the university, the Wings recently became the first regional champions in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association history, winning both the Division 1 and B divisions.
