A UB student went through the glass of this Porter Hall window Tuesday.

A UB student tripped and fell from a ground floor window of Porter Hall in the Ellicott Complex Tuesday.

Pictures of the window supplied to The Spectrum indicate the student went through the glass, and students reported seeing medical personnel take the student away in an ambulance.

Deputy Chief of Police Joshua Sticht said although the student did not fall from a height, he could not comment on the student’s medical condition.

The investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
