Two students make their way toward the Center for Arts parking lot in the snowy weather Friday afternoon. The weather caused at least two accidents, according to University Police.

Friday’s lake-effect snow and freezing temperatures caused a few accidents that affected UB.

A car slid into the back of a Stampede bus on Millersport Highway Friday morning, according to University Police. Because the accident occurred off campus, UPD does not have a police report of the incident, but Assistant Chief of Police Chris Bartolomei said there were no injuries.

Frontier Road, the road that runs along Lake LaSalle and is often used to get to the South Lake Village apartments, was closed down for a portion of the morning while a tow truck removed a car that had slid off the roadway, UPD said.
